Victoria MacDermott
Victoria Mac Dermott was born in 1972 and was brought up on her parents’ farm in Co. Kildare. She was educated and attended art college in Dublin, here she specialised in mixed media, but, also exhibited in Ireland at that time. Having completed her studies, in 1996 she moved to the UK to pursue a career, but, has since been drawn back to her early passion for painting.
Victoria’s knowledge and understanding of both domestic and wild animals in all their natural form and movement is wonderfully reflected in her work. Working in oil, pastels, charcoal and etchings, her style is traditional and figurative.
